Join us for the 6th Annual Fiat Fest & Adventure Race on Saturday, August 2nd!

Start your day with an exciting morning race, then stick around for an afternoon packed with good food, fun games, and live music from bluegrass band Chain Station! It's the perfect way to spend a summer Saturday - bring your friends, bring your family, and let's make some memories!

Not Your Average Trail Run...

The Fiat Fest Adventure Race isn’t just a jog through the woods — it’s an experience. Choose from a 5K run with obstacles or a 1-mile walk with obstacles, both set on our beautiful mountain property. Whether you're in it to compete or just want to take it easy, you'll be challenged — and you'll have a blast doing it.

This year’s course features a brand-new layout with fresh obstacles sprinkled throughout. Get ready to climb, crawl, and push your limits!

But this race is more than just a physical challenge — it's a chance to feel something deeper. Surrounded by stunning forest, fresh mountain air, and encouraging friends, you’ll be reminded of God’s love in a powerful way. Yes, there will be sweat (maybe even a few tears), but every moment — even the tough ones — is a gift.

And honestly? Just having you there makes it even better!

The Fun Doesn't Stop After the Race!

After you cross the finish line, stick around — the real party’s just getting started! We’re bringing back last year’s crowd-favorite format with a delicious meal and an afternoon full of fun.

Enjoy live music from the one and only Chain Station Band, plus activities for all ages including:

  • Cotton candy (yes, please!)

  • Fire truck & ambulance tours

  • A coffee cart for your caffeine fix

  • Volleyball, face painting, corn-hole, mini-golf, spike ball… and so much more!

Whether you're racing or just coming to hang out, there’s plenty to keep you smiling all afternoon long.

Can't Go But Still Want to Support Us?

Lunch & Music

After an afternoon of fun in the high country, we will have a sit-down lunch with music. This will be an informal affair of good food and great company – a time to strengthen old friendships and galvanize new ones. Once your bellies are full you will have the chance to work off the calories with dancing and fun while the activities are still going.

Mission

100% of the proceeds from this event support the Altum Institute Missionary program.

Why the Altum Institute? This program takes its name from Luke 5:4 where Jesus tells Peter to “put out into the deep” from the Latin Duc In Altum. Over the course of 15 months, these missionaries follow a rigorous rule of life to bring Christ more radically into their lives and the lives of other. This life translates into incredible ministry and service to those who come to Annunciation Heights in search of Jesus Christ.

What does an Altum Institute Missionary DO? They are the heart and soul, the life blood, the meat & potatoes, the engine… you get it… of Annunciation Heights. They run our youth camps, facilitate family-centric programming, serve our guest groups, and lead instruction and curriculum development for JPII Outdoor Labs. They also clean dishes, prep meals, chop wood, dig holes, clear trails, etc. etc. etc. And most importantly, they live a life of frequent, daily, and constant prayer, and their primary intention is YOU.

Who are these Missionaries? Great question: check them all out here!
